Wriggles lives in the Library at Carolina Beach, on Pleasure Island in NC. His first love is reading. In reading, he gets to see the whole wide world through book author’s eyes.  His favorite days at the Library are Tuesdays and Thursdays, because Storytellers come to read to the children. When Storytime is over, all the kids look for books to borrow and take home for the week. Through observing the kids and listening to their conversations, Wriggles knows what kind of books and characters each of the children like. So his job, as he sees it, is to find great books before they arrive and when they come looking, he pushes with all his might to get the right books to stick out a few inches – so the kids will notice and choose them. But one day something extraordinary happens. He winds up in Amelie’s bag of checked out books. He goes on an adventure he never dreamed could happen to him!
