A Walk On The Wildly Absurd Side
Different Creatures, Similar Features
Often insects or small animals are named after a larger animal, item or a human trait due to their similarities. This colorful, lifelike book helps teach young children the concept of similarities and differences in the world around them. Matching books and games develop an important pre-reading skill. Finding and recognizing differences and similarities are fun first steps to recognition and visual discrimination, concentration and visual memory, reasoning skills, discovering personal preferences, and effectuating a child’s own social and cultural identity.
Little Fish Learns To Share
Little Fish Meets Mini Me
Little Fish has watched Mommy’s growing tummy and knows there is a baby on the way. Mom and Dad understand that children handle change best when they know what to expect and why. Little Fish learns how he can help. As time approaches for expectant parents and in those early months at home, it’s important to provide relationship assurance for your toddler. For example: “I need to feed the baby and put her/him down for a nap. Let’s cuddle up and read a story after baby falls asleep.” Allow your toddler to help out whenever possible, picking out baby’s pajamas at bedtime or handing you a diaper when changing baby. Ask your toddler to help “you” rather than the baby. Be patient with your toddler. In time, a wonderful relationship will blossom between the siblings!
Peacocks Aren’t The Only Ones
This fun little book focuses on color and the artistic beauty found in nature. Written in poetry prose, each page reveals fun, true facts about each colorfully illustrated creature, its habitat, unique features, and/or life habits. We hope it inspires you and your little ones to go outside and explore the wondrous world around you. “Peacocks aren’t the only ones with colors, blue and green. Other creatures dance, and flaunt their colors to be seen!” Go outside and discover the amazing colors found in nature! Written & Illustrated by Joyce Ann Edwards.
When P’Tera Met Blaze
The day P'Tera Met Blaze, it seemed they were just alike! But the more they got to know one another, the more differences they discovered. They found it interesting and exciting as they learned new things about one another and they admired each other for their differences. In the end, P'Tera and Blaze, (though from completely different worlds), knew they were destined to be great friends! Early friendships are important. They teach our children to connect with others and hone their communication skills. Not only do they learn to share and grow emotionally through interactive play, but their young minds acquire negotiating skills, compromise, compassion, and respect for others. More Than You Can Imagine

NANA STORY BOOKS
As the visionary behind Nana Story Books, Joyce Edwards entered the world as the youngest member of a proud military family stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. Consequently, her childhood and professional endeavors have taken her on a nomadic journey across the United States and beyond. Eventually, a burning desire to reconnect with the cherished memories of youth, led her away from a career in corporate sales and marketing – back to the familiar embrace of pine needles in the sand and the rhythmic lull of the Atlantic Ocean. Alongside her passion for storytelling and illustration, early on Joyce embarked on an enriching pursuit towards a degree in Commercial Arts. As often happens, life sidetracked her; marriage, children and a 20 year career in contract sales and marketing, followed by years dedicated to parental caregiving. A new chapter unfolded as Joyce embraced the role of Nana, first with her own grandchildren and later to other remarkable children as their Nanny.
