The Magic Begins With Nana

Joyce Edwards, the visionary behind Nana Story Books, grew up as the youngest in a military family stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. Her early years were marked by frequent moves across the U.S., shaping a deep appreciation for stories that feel like home. Though she pursued a career in corporate sales and marketing, her heart never strayed far from creativity. She began studying Commercial Arts, and while life brought marriage, children, and caregiving responsibilities, her passion for storytelling remained.

A new chapter began when Joyce became a Nana, first to her own grandchildren, then to other children as a beloved Nanny. Through their laughter, love, and boundless curiosity, she rediscovered her creative spark. Nana Story Books was born from that joy, an expression of her commitment to nurturing imagination, teaching values, and building meaningful connections through beautifully told and illustrated stories. Joyce writes to inspire young minds and to bring families closer, one heartfelt

page at a time.
